Create personalized demo links inside Slack with /demo, share them with
prospects, and receive a direct message when a demo completes.
Before you start
You need:
- A Supersonik account in your company's organization. An administrator with permission to manage organization settings completes the first installation.
- Permission to install apps in the Slack workspace, or approval from your Slack administrator.
- A published, public demo experience you can access in Supersonik to create your first link.
Install Supersonik in an individual Slack workspace. Each workspace connects to one Supersonik organization; organization-wide Slack installations are not supported.
Install in your workspace
A Supersonik organization administrator completes these steps once for the workspace:
- Open Connect Supersonik to Slack and sign in with your Supersonik account for the organization you want to connect.
- Select Connect Slack.
- On Slack's authorization screen, check that you have selected the correct workspace and that the app is Supersonik.
- Review the requested permissions and approve the installation. If Slack requires administrator approval, ask your Slack administrator to approve the app, then return to the connection link to finish.
- When you see Your account is connected, select Return to Slack or Open Slack in your browser.
- Run
/demoin that workspace to open Send a demo inside Slack.
The browser is used for sign-in and account connection. After connecting, create links through the form in Slack.
Connect your own account
Each rep connects their own Supersonik account, even when an administrator has already installed the app in the workspace. Your available demos and results follow your existing Supersonik permissions.
- In Slack, run
/demo, or open the Supersonik app's Home tab and select Send a demo. - If asked to connect, select Connect account. Sign in to Supersonik with your own account and select Connect Slack.
- Choose the workspace your administrator connected and complete the authorization in the same browser.
- Return to Slack and run
/demoagain. The demo form opens inside Slack.
You can also start account connection from the Supersonik connection page.
Create your first demo link
-
Run
/demo, or select Send a demo in the Supersonik app's Home tab. -
Choose a Published experience.
-
Enter the Recipient email.
-
Optionally fill in Context for the demo with the prospect's goals, questions, or notes from a previous conversation. For example:
The prospect manages a support team. Focus on ticket routing and reporting, and explain how the product could reduce manual handoffs. -
Select Create link.
-
Copy the returned link and share it with your prospect through your usual email or messaging tool.
Context helps the agent personalize the conversation. It does not change the published demo configuration. The context and recipient details are stored behind the link, outside the URL. Share the returned link exactly as it appears.
Creating a link does not send an email or message to the prospect.
Receive demo notifications
When a prospect completes a demo started from a link you created, Supersonik sends you a direct message in Slack. The message includes a View demo link and updates as the demo's configured insights finish processing.
Notifications and insight details depend on your current Supersonik permissions and your connected Slack account.
Connect Slackbot
You can also connect Slackbot to Supersonik to ask about demos and insights or create personalized links in a conversation. This uses Supersonik's MCP server and requires access to Slackbot's app connections in your workspace.
After the Supersonik app is installed:
- Open Slackbot on desktop.
- Click Slackbot above the Messages tab and select Apps.
- Select Connect next to Supersonik and sign in to your own Supersonik account.
- Use the app's Settings in that list to review available tools and choose which actions need your approval.
Your Slack administrator may need to approve the app's MCP connection. See Slack's account connection instructions for current availability and controls.
Try asking Slackbot:
Which published Supersonik demos can I share? List their names and links.
Then use a demo from the results:
Create a personalized link for that demo for jane@example.com, with this
context: focus on ticket routing and reporting for a support team.
Slackbot uses your authenticated Supersonik permissions. See the
MCP guide for supported link options.
The /demo form works independently of this Slackbot connection.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
/demo is not available | Check you are in the workspace where Supersonik is installed. Ask your administrator to complete the installation or approve any pending permission update. |
Another app responds to /demo | Open Supersonik → Home → Send a demo to use the Supersonik form. |
| Connect account after installation | Connect your own Supersonik account, then run /demo again. Workspace installation does not connect every rep automatically. |
| An administrator must connect the workspace first | Ask a Supersonik organization administrator to complete the first installation from the connection page. |
| The workspace is already connected to another organization | Check the Supersonik account and Slack workspace you selected. Contact support if the workspace needs to move to a different organization. |
| No published experiences are available | Ask your Supersonik administrator to publish a public demo experience and check your access to it. |
| Link creation does not finish | Select Check link in the form. If the form has expired, close it and run /demo again. |
| Sending messages to the Supersonik app is turned off | Use /demo or Home → Send a demo. For conversational requests, connect Slackbot as described above. |
| The connection page says Slack is not configured | Contact your Supersonik account team or support. |
| Account authorization fails | Restart from the connection page and finish sign-in and authorization in the same browser. If it still fails, contact support with the error text. |
Support
Contact your Supersonik account team or support@supersonik.ai. Include your workspace name, the step that failed, and the error message.
